By Michael Ireland
Senior International Correspondent, ASSIST News Service

LAKE FOREST, CA (ANS) -- One of Saddleback Church's signature ministries is the HIV/AIDS Initiative and Pastor Rick Warren’s wife Kay Warren leads the movement with a heart to see this disease eradicated in our lifetime.

In honor of World AIDS Day, Kay Warren will be featured as a panelist via a live broadcast in partnership with the ONE and RED campaigns.

Join Kay via YouTube as she speaks live Thursday, Dec.1 at 7 a.m PST.

Concerned believers are then also asked to come to the Lake Forest campus, or join Saddleback Church online (http://saddleback.com/webcast/worldaidsday  ), for a full day of events aimed at remembering the impact that AIDS has had on our world and learn what it means to live with fearless compassion.

At the Saddleback event, there will be opportunities to serve, learn, and pray during the special celebration of hope held throughout the day in the Refinery.

Those who do so will be able to hear experts in the field share their knowledge in four different forums:

6:30–7:15 am: A Fearful Reality
12:15–1:00 pm: From Fearful to Fearless
7:15–8:30 pm: Fearless in the Father
9:00 pm: Documentary Film, Triage: Dr. James Orbinski’s Humanitarian Dilemma.

Saddleback Church says that caring for those infected or affected by HIV&AIDS -- the greatest humanitarian crisis of all time -- allows Christ followers to demonstrate the love of Jesus in concrete, practical ways.

If you can't make it to the Lake Forest campus http://ow.ly/7KEeT  for the live event, you can watch online at http://saddleback.com/webcast/worldaidsday  .
