Churches challenged over economic ethics as crisis continues | Ekklesia: "When the world is plagued by serious economic crisis, churches fail in their mission if they do not address economic issues seriously, an advocate of "economic ethics" has warned - writes Anto Akkara.

"Religions should have something new to say in the moment of crisis. The economic crisis is also an ethical crisis. But churches lack the expertise to suggest alternatives," Luigino Bruni, an economics professor at the University of Milan, said."
