Sydney, Australia—Leading Australian developer of electronic publishing technology, Eurofield Information Solutions (EIS) today announced the release of its eComPress EASY-VERSETM King James Version (KJV) of the Holy Bible as a FREE download from its website.
Two thousand and eleven is the four hundredth anniversary of the completion of the KJV Bible translation. In 1604 King James 1 authorised the translation and assembled a team of some 47 scholars to create what many would claim is the greatest English literary work of all time.
EIS released the first EASY-VERSE KJV in the early nineties on a single 3.5" floppy disk, and we believe that this was the only publication of a fully indexed KJV with built-in viewer ever able to be published on a single floppy disk. Following a suggestion from Gareth Powell, the editor of the Sydney Morning Herald IT section at the time, EIS released the product and sold many thousands of disks through various retailers and newsagents in Australia.
The EASY-VERSE KJV is a secure downloadable Windows App and comes bundled with a built-in secure viewer, and is permanently compressed and encoded with all words and numbers indexed and searchable. The user can search and view four separate books at the same time using the MultiView screen, and it can be annotated with searchable Notes, and enables users to interact and Collaborate in ContextTM with each other.
The award winning eComPress electronic publishing technology transforms reference publications into powerful, secure, compressed, searchable, annotatable collaborative productivity tools. eComPress publications are comprehensive, easy to use and distribute, and designed to give you the information you need when you need it!
