Rupert Murdoch, the British Tabloids, Front Page Radio and His Channel Live

LAKE FOREST, CA (ANS) -- Dear ANS friends: I trust you are all keeping well. Well, is has been another busy week for news and interviews for ANS and I thought I would take a few moments to update you on all that is going on.

First of all, Rupert Murdoch has returned home to the United States, but the news about News Corp hasn't died down with almost daily new revelations coming to light about the phone-hacking scandal in the United Kingdom that brought down the News of the World.

Having worked in the British tabloids, I know all too well about some of the unethical tactics employed by some reporters to get their "exclusives" and I had the interesting experience of recently being a guest on a local NPR station in Los Angeles and also Premier Christian Radio in London, to talk about the News of the World and my personal thoughts about the British tabloids.

I have to confess that it was not all bad for me in the tabloids for, in my new life as an undercover reporter covering the Persecuted Church, I have been able to use my experience in interviewing people, writing (hopefully) easy to read stories and headlines that draw people in, in my work for ANS.

Dan Wooding, 70, is an award winning British journalist now living in Southern California with his wife Norma, to whom he has been married for 48 years. They have two sons, Andrew and Peter, and six grandchildren who all live in the UK.
